Evoking Emotion Through Writing

Another brilliant video from Jenna Moreci (can you tell I'm obsessed with her? I hope not) explaining how to evoke emotion through your writing.
One of the many complaints I got from beta readers was that my writing failed to touch them. It is a serious issue. Readers will get bored of a book that they can't connect with. Jenna explained it in an easy-to-understand way, and I hope this helps other writers as much as it helped me.

Favorite Books Of 2016!

Yay, here's the happier version of my last post! 2016 surely had many, many downs, but one positive part was the amount of good books I read this year. Here goes, in no order whatsoever :  1. Gone Girl, Gillian Flynn This book.  It is so, so, so good.  This is my very first Gillian Flynn book, and I absolutely loved it. People tell me her other two books are better than this, so I can't wait to get my hands on them either.

Favorite Wattpad Books

While physical books that I can touch and cry tears on are the most perfect things to touch Earth's surface, Wattpad is definitely the best form of e-book. I've currently got 85 books in my private library, and 3 published books myself. I won't deny that half of the books on Wattpad are, no offence, absolute rubbish (my books included), but I have dug out a few that have absolutely blown my mind.  So, ignoring the cliche' grammar-mistake-filled Wattpad gems, let's get straight into the good stuff. 5.  High School Hit List This is a teen fiction (there's gonna be lots of these) book written by the lovely  autheras , and it is about exactly what the title says.  It follows Chloe Whittaker's journey, taking revenge on the 'it' club of her high school for what they did to her best friend.
